What you will do
- Develop and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications and microservices.
- Implement Spring Boot applications following clean code and performance optimization practices.
- Build robust, asynchronous systems using event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design efficient relational database integrations to ensure data integrity.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development using Java 8+.
- Fullstack proficiency across backend and frontend technologies (Angular or React).
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and RESTful microservices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with messaging platforms like Apache Kafka.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Hands-on experience with AI code companions (e.g., GitHub Copilot, JetBrains AI).
Nice to have
- Knowledge of performance tuning and monitoring for Java applications.
