What you will do

• Evaluate credit applications and merchant portfolios by analyzing financial data and risk indicators.
• Structure and negotiate deal terms, including reserves, collateral, and guarantees.
• Conduct portfolio reviews and risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Prepare detailed credit analyses and executive memos for senior management.
• Partner with sales, legal, and compliance teams to align on credit strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Business.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or credit risk.
• At least 4+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst.
• Strong expertise in credit risk assessment and financial statement analysis.
• Proven ability to evaluate complex deals and make sound risk-based decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, merchant acquiring, or the fintech industry.
• Familiarity with KYC processes, regulatory frameworks, and card scheme rules.
• Exposure to risk tools, legal filings systems, and third-party credit assessment platforms.
