Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps/IaC): Own and improve hirify.global’s enterprise infrastructure systems across endpoint operations, identity & access lifecycle, internal tooling, and GitOps-driven platform engineering with an accent on scalability, reliability, and reducing manual toil. Focus on designing CI/CD and IaC workflows, consolidating legacy tooling into automated GitOps processes, and implementing agentic AI workflows for bounded, validated IT operations.

Location: Tempe, Arizona (in person 5 days per week)

What you will do

• Lead endpoint and office operations, including hardware inventory, secure storage, endpoint provisioning/patching, and A/V and conference room support.
• Drive service operations and delivery by resolving incidents/requests, maintaining SaaS configurations, and managing user identity and access lifecycle (SSO, SCIM, MFA, security keys).
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and GitOps-driven deployment workflows.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and endpoint configurations; lead endpoint management platform migrations.
• Develop agentic AI workflows to augment IT operations using context engineering principles for reliable, bounded automation and validations.
• Define and track operational metrics, communicate capacity insights to leadership, and mentor others as an escalation point.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise IT, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps-focused support.
• Strong macOS fleet management experience at scale using MDM platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tooling.
• Proficiency in at least two of: Go, Python, Swift, with ability to build production-grade internal tooling and API integrations.
• Deep experience with identity and access management platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Active Directory), including SSO, SCIM, Device Assurance Policies, MFA, and user lifecycle automation.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Git-based development workflows; solid networking fundamentals; AWS experience in production or internal-tooling context.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech/crypto/regulatory environments.
• Experience with FleetDM and osquery for endpoint telemetry and GitOps-managed device configuration.
• Experience designing agentic AI harnesses/workflows or applying context engineering techniques (e.g., Claude Code, OpenCode, LLM-driven automation).
• Hands-on containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Experience with Apple MDM protocol and open-source macOS tooling (Munki, AutoPkg, SaltStack).
