Propulsion Development Engineer (Aerospace)

Company

The Exploration Company is developing Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle designed for cargo and potentially human transport.

What you will do

• Define and maintain test objectives and requirements for propulsion sub-systems.
• Design the architecture (P&ID, PBS) and mechanical layout of test rigs in collaboration with CAD and structural engineers.
• Conduct fluid modelling and analyses to verify test rig representativeness with flight systems.
• Manage the procurement of components and sensors while maintaining project schedules and costs.
• Perform assembly, commissioning, and execution of test campaigns, analyzing parameters in real-time.
• Develop test procedures and elaborate post-test reports to update and correlate fluidic models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in designing, building, and testing complex fluid systems.
• Strong fundamentals in fluid dynamics and proficiency in classical hand calculations.
• Experience with data acquisition equipment and test instrumentation and control components.
• Experience in generating test plans and conducting cold flow test operations for pressurisation and feed systems.
• Fluency in English.
