hirify.global is developing Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle designed for cargo and potentially human transport.

What you will do

• Design and own core software tools for mission automation, testing, simulation, and deployment.
• Develop high-quality Python code following modern software architecture and performance best practices.
• Interface with C++ flight software, ground software, and system engineering tools.
• Build and maintain test orchestration and simulation management tools to validate software behavior.
• Collaborate with GNC, avionics, and mission operations teams for user-driven tool design.
• Participate in code reviews and flight readiness assessments.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and at least one system programming language.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, build systems, and containerization tools.
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex technical problems to resolution.
• Excellent cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Munich, Germany

Nice to have

• Experience with Bazel.
• Good understanding of math and physics.
• Experience with asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code.
