Internship – Product Engineering (ML Model Development)

Location: Nijmegen, Netherlands; full-time onsite internship

What you will do

• Develop artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions for Product Engineering.
• Analyze semiconductor test and characterization data using statistical data analysis tools.
• Support the development of machine learning solutions for production analytics.
• Develop zero-defect screening methods and identify improved screening techniques for product quality.
• Collaborate with internal project sub-teams, external interfaces, and the team lead to deliver changes across functions on time and within quality and cost objectives.

Requirements

• Master’s student majoring in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data analysis or machine learning workflows.
• Ability to translate analytical results into practical engineering decisions and collaborate with cross-functional technical stakeholders.
• Interest in semiconductor test data, production analytics, and industrial machine learning solutions.
• Available for a full-time internship of at least 6 months and registered as a student for the entire period.
• The assignment is not suitable as an MSc thesis or graduation project.

• Additional coursework in electronics or VLSI design.
