What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering team's professional growth, including promotions and hiring.
- Collaborate with product managers to define feature specifications and ensure target deadlines are met.
- Design and build scalable web services while maintaining and improving existing codebases.
- Perform code reviews and make critical design decisions to ensure system reliability.
- Ensure 24/7 service availability through proactive troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Identify and hire new engineering talent to grow the company's technical capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a tech-oriented company.
- Strong proficiency in Java or NodeJS.
- Experience with RDBMS technology such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Proven record of mentorship and leadership in delivering high-quality projects.
- Deep understanding of internet protocols (HTTP, DNS, IP) and scalable web architecture.
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaboration tools (GitHub).
