What you will do

• Collaborate with leads and supervisors to define and execute the artistic look of sequences.
• Light and composite shots using Gaffer and Nuke based on master rigs and templates.
• Create master light rigs and assemble lighting setups for production sequences.
• Troubleshoot artistic and technical issues to ensure shots meet render requirements.
• Submit work for dailies and incorporate constructive feedback to enhance storytelling.
• Harmonize creative and technical aspects using a strong understanding of shading and color.

Requirements

• Must hold valid Canadian work authorization and reside in British Columbia.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role on animated feature-length projects.
• Proficiency in Katana/Gaffer, Nuke, Houdini Solaris, and Renderman.
• Strong understanding of light, shading, color, and compositing principles.
• Ability to grasp stylized and non-photoreal lighting concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
