What you will do
- Develop and maintain Maya and Unreal Engine 5 animation pipelines, including rigging and skinning workflows.
- Create high-quality gameplay animations for humanoid and mechanical assets.
- Ensure seamless integration and optimization of animation assets within Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with technical artists to improve tools and pipeline efficiency.
- Manage animation scenes and exports using Perforce.
- Partner with production teams to provide accurate estimates and timely delivery.
Requirements
- Must be based in Canada
- 4+ years of experience in technical and gameplay animation within the game industry.
- Strong proficiency in Maya and Unreal Engine 5.
- Solid understanding of rigging workflows, skeleton design, and skinning.
- Experience with Perforce-based pipelines.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant technical animation work.
