Senior Animator (3D Animation)

Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, BC. Must hold a valid Canadian work authorization and reside in BC

Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year

What you will do

• Interpret and creatively enhance scenes based on storyboards, reference materials, and artistic direction.
• Collaborate with the Animation Director and leads to translate creative concepts and feedback into animation.
• Deliver high-quality 3D animated sequences that meet the standards of feature film production.
• Work within established production pipelines and follow studio protocols to meet deadlines and quotas.
• Identify and help resolve potential risks or delays to maintain the production schedule.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in 3D character animation using Autodesk Maya.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, shot composition, and fundamental animation principles.
• Expertise in acting, timing, weight, movement, body mechanics, and staging.
• Experience animating humans, quadrupeds, and various creatures.
• Proficiency in using facial and body pose libraries.
• Valid Canadian work authorization and residency in British Columbia.
