What you will do

• Tackle the most challenging rigging tasks and solve complex rigging problems on the show.
• Set and maintain high rigging quality standards and raise overall team output.
• Mentor Mid and Junior Rigging artists, providing guidance and support through technical challenges.
• Write and maintain rigging scripts and contribute to tool and methodology development for workflow efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership by staying current with industry trends and adopting new technologies.
• Lead rigging aspects of projects and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Expert knowledge of Maya.
• Strong Python knowledge is required.
• Proficient knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong understanding of human and animal anatomy, including kinematics for organic and mechanical systems.
• Experience delivering tasks under deadlines in an episodic production or feature animation environment.
