Staff SAP Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Frame complex SAP integration challenges and drive the technical roadmap based on Finance priorities.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for Accounting and Finance teams, translating business needs into architecture.
• Manage and challenge external integrators such as PwC, MeltOne, and MSG to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Design and build REST/OData APIs and middleware connectors across SAP, Workday, ADP, Google Workspace, and Slack.
• Promote and integrate AI-driven engineering practices into the daily workflow using tools like Claude and Copilot.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP experience, specifically with S/4HANA Public Cloud, ABAP, RAP, and CDS.
• Proven track record of designing and building complex system integrations.
• High degree of autonomy and a staff-level mindset to anticipate problems and drive priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to communicate technical decisions to non-technical Finance teams.
• Active proficiency in using AI tools (Claude, Copilot, Joule) to optimize engineering workflows.
