TL;DR
SAP ABAP HCM Developer (S/4HANA): Developing and implementing SAP HCM Job Management and Organizational Management modules for public sector clients. Focus on creating custom enhancements, complex reporting, and optimizing data structures within an S/4HANA environment.

Must be based in Germany.

Andersen is looking for a SAP ABAP HCM Developer to work on a project developing SAP HCM solutions, implementing custom enhancements, and supporting complex HR processes in S/4HANA.

The customer is a large international technology provider delivering end-to-end digital solutions for enterprise-level organizations. They specialize in IT consulting, cloud services, and cybersecurity, focusing on innovation and high security standards.

What you will do

  • Perform high-level ABAP and ABAP OO programming within the SAP HCM environment.
  • Create and adapt customer-specific infotypes, database tables, and specialized functional modules.
  • Develop complex reports for staffing plans, budget evaluations, and staffing overviews.
  • Optimize the processing of large data sets within the HCM module.
  • Customize tools for mass organizational changes and large-scale reorganizations.
  • Execute unit tests, perform code reviews, and maintain technical developer documentation.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with SAP for 4+ years.
  • Sound ABAP and ABAP OO development knowledge.
  • Technical experience with SAP HCM infotype structures and the OM object model.
  • Level of English - from Upper-Intermediate and above.
  • Native German.
  • Proven experience in the development of customer-specific infotypes in the HCM context.
  • Ability to create complex reports and perform performance optimization for large data sets.
  • Experience in preparing technical developer documentation and performing code reviews.

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of SAP job management (PA-PM) and organizational management (OM).
  • Experience in public digitization projects.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA HCM.
