Salary: $266,050 – $396,000 USD.

What you will do

• Architect and implement core platform capabilities including data ingestion, vectorization, and semantic search infrastructure.
• Define technical architecture for AI-native storage integration within hirify.global ONTAP and cloud environments.
• Lead the design of highly available, fault-tolerant, and horizontally scalable distributed systems.
• Partner with product management to shape the roadmap and translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Represent the company in the external technical community through patents, publications, and conference presentations.
• Mentor senior and principal engineers to elevate technical craft and engineering culture.

Requirements

• 20+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of technical leadership at scale.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and high-performance data infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI pipelines, RAG systems, vector stores, or agentic AI frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one systems programming language such as Go, Rust, C++, or Java.
• Strong understanding of LLM serving, inference optimization, and data infrastructure for model training.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure like Kubernetes and managed AI services on major cloud providers.
