What you will do
- Develop and maintain ML models for object detection, image segmentation, and product classification.
- Contribute to end-to-end ML pipelines including data preparation, training, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct R&D to evaluate new architectures and techniques for improving model accuracy.
- Analyze system behavior and model outputs using SQL and telemetry data.
- Write clean, maintainable Python code following engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Must be based in Ukraine.
- 3+ years of professional Python development experience.
- Strong understanding of Computer Vision concepts like Object Detection and Image Segmentation.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and troubleshooting.
- Experience with the machine learning lifecycle from training to deployment.
- Ability to work independently and drive tasks from research to production.
Nice to have
- Experience with PyTorch and model optimization techniques like quantization or ONNX.
- Background in retail analytics or planogram compliance.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices including CI/CD for ML.
- Understanding of classical Computer Vision algorithms.
