What you will do

• Communicate payer policy and procedure changes to physicians, clinics, and hospitals via written communication.
• Review and summarize large volumes of healthcare data into relevant categories.
• Identify medical conditions and coding to ensure alerts reach the correct medical specialties.
• Categorize alerts into Administration, Clinical, Pharmaceutical, and Reimbursement.
• Research drugs, diseases, and provider types to correlate updated health information.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in the U.S. healthcare industry.
• Experience with medical billing or claims.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding standards.
• Understanding of various payer types (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care).
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology, provider types, and care settings.
