What you will do
- Provide operator support by connecting inbound customer calls to appropriate interpreters and managing administrative scheduling.
- Perform accurate over-the-phone interpretation between English and Spanish during peak volumes.
- Follow professional operator scripting, maintaining clear enunciation and a professional demeanor.
- Apply Lionbridge glossaries and terminology to ensure high-quality linguistic output.
- Meet performance benchmarks regarding interpreter utilization and call monitoring.
Requirements
- Near-native fluency (C2) in both English and Spanish, including cultural and idiomatic expertise.
- Must be based in San Jose, Costa Rica to adhere to the hybrid work schedule.
- Ability to support U.S. business hours (Monday-Friday).
- At least 2 years of experience in interpretation, translation, or call center operations.
- Passing score (70%) on the Lionbridge Spanish-English assessment.
- High-speed internet (min 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload) with a direct hard-wire connection to the modem.

- Familiarity with AI tools.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
