What you will do

• Administer and support Teradata/Vantage databases in mission-critical environments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database engines to ensure high availability.
• Monitor database performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize queries.
• Provide production support under strict SLAs, including incident resolution and troubleshooting.
• Manage backup, recovery, security, and access controls.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in database administration roles.
• Strong experience in Teradata/Vantage Administration.
• Experience with database installation, configuration, maintenance, and hardening.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, backup, recovery, and high availability solutions.
• Experience supporting production environments under SLAs.
• Intermediate English level (written and verbal) required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based processes and operational documentation.
• Exposure to automation, monitoring tools, or cloud-based database platforms.
