TL;DR

VP of People (Fintech): Scaling the people function and talent strategy for a high-growth healthcare fintech company with an accent on recruiting, organizational design, and people infrastructure. Focus on building high-performing teams, standardizing hiring frameworks, and designing scalable systems to support rapid headcount growth.

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY (Must be based in the US, 4 days per week in office)

Salary: Up to $325,000

A high-growth fintech and software ecosystem dedicated to building a more efficient healthcare system by providing tools for doctors to better manage their practices.

What you will do

  • Scale the People strategy across hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee experience.
  • Partner with executive leadership to translate business goals into headcount plans and organizational design.
  • Lead end-to-end recruiting strategy and standardize hiring frameworks across GTM, Product, and Operations.
  • Develop metrics and dashboards for hiring, retention, and engagement to report insights to leadership.
  • Implement scalable onboarding and manager enablement programs.
  • Design foundational people infrastructure, including job leveling, policies, and tooling.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in People Operations, Talent, or HR, with previous experience at a Director level or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of scaling startups from small to mid-sized organizations (e.g., 50 to 300 people).
  • Experience partnering with executives in fast-growing startup or scale-up environments.
  • Expertise in managing complex compensation plans across various functions.
  • Deep experience with modern ATS and HR tooling such as Lever or Greenhouse.
  • Ability to support both GTM and technical organizations.
