What you will do
- Design new microwave components and systems for plasma-enhanced CVD reactors and other CVD diamond production tools.
- Model plasma and microwave behavior of reactor components to enhance reactor design and understanding.
- Develop and implement diagnostics for reactor and plasma monitoring and control within manufacturing.
- Architect and perform experiments to understand the impact of microwave sources and components on plasma and diamond growth.
Requirements
- PhD in engineering or applied physics with expertise in high-power, microwave frequency systems.
- At least 5 years of industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with RF/microwave test equipment such as VNAs, signal generators, and diodes.
- Experience with high vacuum systems and plasma-based devices.
- Proficiency in full-wave electromagnetic design tools (HFSS, CST MWS, or COMSOL) and circuit design/layout tools.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
