What you will do

• Design and optimize cloud database architectures on AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions for large-scale systems.
• Resolve complex production incidents and perform deep-dive performance tuning.
• Ensure database security and compliance with global regulatory standards.
• Automate database operations and manage cloud infrastructure costs.
• Lead and mentor a team of DBAs to deliver high-quality database services.

Requirements

• Must have a current right to work in Singapore (no visa sponsorship provided).
• 5+ years of DBA experience, including 2+ years managing public cloud databases.
• Expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Redis.
• Hands-on experience with TB-level databases, sharding, and read/write splitting.
• Strong proficiency in AWS or Alibaba Cloud database services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to have

• Alibaba Cloud ACP/ACE or AWS Certified Database – Specialty certifications.
• Experience with database migration tools like AWS DMS or Alibaba Cloud DTS.
• Background in hybrid cloud projects or DR drills.
