What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of a new high-performing API Management Platform in Rust.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Establish deep observability and monitoring to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to core architectural decisions and conduct code reviews as a founding engineer.
• Lead the transition of the internal startup into a standalone product with a dedicated team.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Rust with a focus on systems, performance, and reliability.
• 5+ years of overall software development experience in backend systems and architecture.
• Proven track record of working on high-load, distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Expertise in utilizing AI tools like Claude Code to accelerate the development and testing lifecycle.
• Founder mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced startup mode.
