What you will do

• Define and own the enterprise architecture for IBM Maximo solutions, including high-level design, reference architecture, and scalability frameworks.
• Lead strategic road mapping and long-term modernization efforts, specifically Maximo 7.6 to MAS 8.x/9.x migrations and cloud adoption.
• Architect end-to-end integrations using MIF, MEA, OSLC, REST APIs, Kafka, and other ESBs for ERP, GIS, and SCADA systems.
• Conduct current-state assessments, fit/gap analysis, and develop comprehensive architectural blueprints and transition roadmaps.
• Provide architectural governance, reviewing detailed designs and ensuring alignment with IBM best practices and enterprise IT policies.
• Collaborate with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business vision into technical architecture.

Requirements

• 12-15 years of experience with IBM Maximo, with at least 6 years in architect-level roles leading enterprise-scale implementations.
• Expertise across Maximo versions: 7.1-7.6, Maximo Asset Management 8.x, and Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 8.x/9.x.
• Deep knowledge of Maximo core architecture, data models, Automation Scripting, Java customizations, and MBO extensions.
• Proficiency in database design (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) including Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of EAM/APM business processes, particularly in utilities, energy, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
• Excellent strategic thinking and executive communication skills for stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• IBM Certified Solution Architect certification.
• Familiarity with GIS (Esri), SCADA, and mobility platforms.
• Experience leading architecture practices, COEs, or governance boards.
• Exposure to Agile/DevOps methodologies in large-scale EAM programs.
