What you will do
- Architect and own the rendering pipeline for real-time interactive experiences to deliver cinematic visual fidelity.
- Research, prototype, and implement advanced techniques including global illumination, ray tracing, and PBR.
- Collaborate with Art and Technical Art teams to define material workflows and lighting standards.
- Profile and optimize GPU and CPU performance to maintain high frame rates without sacrificing quality.
- Develop engine-level tooling and editor workflows to empower artists and designers.
- Evaluate emerging APIs and hardware capabilities like DirectX 12 Ultimate, Vulkan, and Metal.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional experience in real-time rendering engineering within games or interactive entertainment.
- Deep expertise in graphics APIs (Vulkan, DirectX 12, Metal, or OpenGL).
- Strong command of Unreal Engine 5 and experience working at the engine/renderer level.
- Proficiency in C++ and shader languages (HLSL, GLSL, or WGSL).
- Proven experience with deferred rendering, temporal anti-aliasing, and screen-space effects.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
