Location: Based in Kenya (Hybrid). Travel is required 75% of the time.

What you will do

• Own commercial performance across the African distributor portfolio, including revenue, forecasting, and territory planning.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard new distributors in priority markets to expand reach.
• Lead strategic engagements with Ministries of Health, international NGOs, development agencies, and funders.
• Manage the full sales cycle for government tenders, RFPs, and donor-funded projects.
• Establish the company as a trusted partner for healthcare capacity building through cross-functional coordination.
• Drive clinical adoption by building KOL networks and facilitating pilot deployments and proof-of-concepts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in medical devices, diagnostics, imaging, or healthcare technology.
• Proven track record of managing distributors in Africa and achieving revenue targets.
• Hands-on experience with government tenders, public procurement, and donor-funded healthcare programs.
• Strong skills in channel development, business planning, and performance analytics.
• Fluent English (C1).
• Must be based in Kenya (the only African country where the company offers employment).

Nice to have

• Fluency in French (strongly preferred), Portuguese, or Arabic.
• Existing relationships with Ministries of Health or global health organizations.
• Clinical, biomedical, or scientific background, specifically in ultrasound/POCUS.
