What you will do

• Design and build critical APIs, microservices, and ETLs that power industrial monitoring systems and the CMMS platform.
• Develop high-performance backend services based on an event-driven architecture to handle large volumes of real-time and historical data.
• Optimize applications and data processing workflows for speed, efficiency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with firmware, frontend, data, and product teams to deliver high-impact features.
• Evolve system architecture through continuous refactoring and implementation of observability best practices.
• Document architectural decisions and technical implementations for the engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience with a focus on user-facing products.
• Solid experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or BullMQ.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Node.js, and/or Rust.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed system design.
• Fluency in Portuguese.

Nice to have

• Fluency in English.
• Contributions to open-source projects demonstrating expertise in backend architecture or data processing.
