What you will do

• Manage daily billing processes and transmit clean claims to third-party payers.
• Follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely payment and resolve denials.
• Maintain accurate billing records, reports, and patient files.
• Communicate effectively with practice staff and payers regarding financial obligations.
• Provide support for routine inquiries related to claim status and account balances.
• Stay updated on current coding changes, fee schedules, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in medical insurance billing.
• Certification in Medical Insurance Billing or an associate degree.
• Solid understanding of medical and insurance terminology.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment in Vancouver, WA.
