Senior Developer, SAP ABAP

Location: Hybrid work from the Selangor or Penang office, Malaysia

What you will do

• Design medium- to high-complexity SAP R/3 4.6, ECC 6.0, and S/4HANA solutions across multiple functional modules.
• Develop, test, document, and deliver SAP ABAP updates with a defect-free mindset.
• Support global SAP development activities and resolve day-to-day and escalated system issues.
• Analyze data and information flows across related business processes and systems, recommending design changes where needed.
• Collaborate with SCRUM teams and coordinate handovers and knowledge transfers.
• Guide and mentor developers within SCRUM/KANBAN teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of advanced experience in SAP ABAP HR programming.
• Good knowledge of at least one APAC country payroll system.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, including classes and methods.
• Expertise in SAP Script, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, XML and JSON interface programming, BADIs, and implicit and explicit enhancements.
• Good knowledge of Agile processes, including SCRUM or KANBAN.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and a stable home-work environment with reliable internet service.
