What you will do

• Design medium to high complexity solutions for SAP R/3 4.6, ECC 6.0, and S/4 HANA across multiple functional modules.
• Perform rigorous unit testing and produce detailed documentation for all assigned updates.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Support Engineers to resolve escalated client issues.
• Mentor and guide developers within the SCRUM/KANBAN team to improve development processes.
• Coordinate handovers and knowledge transfers to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Apply a defect-free mindset to the design, development, and delivery of all solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of advanced experience in SAP ABAP HR programming.
• Must be based in Malaysia.
• Knowledge of APAC country payrolls.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (Classes and Methods), SAP Script, Smartforms, and Adobe Forms.
• Proficiency in interface programming involving XML and JSON file types.
• Experience with BADIs, Implicit, and Explicit enhancements.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of Agile processes such as SCRUM or KANBAN.
