What you will do

• Lead the design and orchestration of modularized, automated, event-driven data pipelines.
• Build scalable and flexible data architecture to support the wider Data function and business.
• Implement modern code development and orchestration strategies to streamline processes.
• Coach and train junior data engineers, providing oversight on experiment design.
• Collaborate with third-party partners and internal teams (Quality, Software, System) to reduce technical debt.
• Ensure data privacy standards and alignment with Data Governance best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive expertise in Python, SQL, Pyspark, Hadoop, and RDBMS.
• Hands-on experience with GCP (Dataproc, Dataflow) and Java.
• Proficiency in modern code development practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Proven experience in ETL/ELT technical design, data warehousing, and data modeling.
• Experience coaching junior team members and supporting their skill development.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
