What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and transformation solutions, including onboarding Snowflake and Salesforce sources into the Enterprise Data Platform.
- Implement production-ready data pipelines using GCP services such as Dataflow, BigQuery, Composer, and Cloud SQL.
- Optimize data processing systems and platform services for enhanced performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of the data platform by introducing data mesh principles and AI-driven governance.
- Produce technical documentation and reusable implementation patterns to ensure platform sustainability.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, Cloud SQL).
- Proficiency in Java and SQL for building data solutions and processing pipelines.
- Experience with schema migration tools like Liquibase or Flyway.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI), Terraform, and version control systems.
- English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher required for global team communication.
Nice to have
- Exposure to the Snowflake data platform.
- Knowledge of Python scripting.
- Understanding of modern data architectures such as Data Lakehouse or Data Mesh.
