What you will do

• Build and maintain high-reliability, low-latency real-time data pipelines for market events.
• Investigate and resolve root causes of data gaps, delivery delays, and schema breaks.
• Continuously ship incremental improvements to ingestion and delivery infrastructure.
• Monitor pipeline health, define alerts, and reduce operational overhead.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to optimize downstream data consumption.
• Maintain clear documentation to facilitate seamless team context-switching.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Python for pipeline development and data transformation.
• Hands-on experience with stream processing systems such as Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis in production.
• Proven track record of debugging complex data reliability issues, including schema drift and ordering anomalies.
• Experience with cloud data infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Ability to own the full lifecycle of systems from design through ongoing maintenance.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial markets, crypto infrastructure, or latency-sensitive trading environments.
• Familiarity with blockchain event indexing or on-chain data ingestion.
• Experience building or maintaining data contracts and schema registries.
