• Develop and produce engaging content for radio, hirify.global Sounds, social media, and online news platforms.
• Identify and research original story ideas from a wide range of sources.
• Collaborate within a multi-skilled team to deliver high-quality news and sport coverage.
• Engage with diverse local communities to build unique connections and reflect local perspectives.
• Apply strong editorial judgment to ensure content meets professional standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in Dunstable and able to work from the office.
• Proven experience in live radio production and audio production techniques.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to look at stories from diverse perspectives.
• Excellent teamworking and interpersonal skills for cross-platform collaboration.
• Passion for local life and community engagement.

Nice to have

• Experience writing for news online.
• Knowledge of editorial guidelines related to live broadcast.
• Ability to create content across multiple platforms (radio, digital, social).
• Experience working with presenters and supporting colleagues.
