Software Engineer (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Fullstack): Contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of software components within an agile team with an accent on clean code, system design, and automated testing. Focus on solving complex software defects, performance optimization, and collaborating across teams to support climate-focused energy solutions.

Location: Must be based in the UK and able to work in a hybrid model from Bristol, Glasgow, or London hubs at least once a week.

Salary: £45,000–£60,000 + 15% bonus + 9% Flex Pay

What you will do

• Build new features by taking user stories from concept to completion.
• Analyze and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product managers and designers.
• Maintain and support existing applications through bug fixes and enhancements.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and monitor production performance.
• Create technical documentation and share knowledge within the team.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Node.js, Kotlin, TypeScript, React, or Flutter.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and API design.

Nice to have

• Experience working with graph-based data models and DAGs.
• AWS experience.
