Visiting Lecturer in Physiology (Education)

Location: Must be based in London and able to travel between London Campus locations

What you will do

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops aligned with module specifications.
• Lead Level 5 and Level 6 physiology modules and deliver laboratory practicals.
• Perform specialized assessments including skinfold measurements, CPET, and blood lactate sampling.
• Maintain and update digital learning content via VLE and MS Teams.
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students, including timely feedback on assessments.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic quality assurance processes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physiology or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience teaching Physiology topics in a UK higher education setting.
• Strong communication and digital teaching skills.
• Ability to develop innovative learning materials and manage hybrid delivery.
• Commitment to inclusivity and student-centered learning.

Nice to have

• PhD in Physiology or equivalent industry experience.
• Teaching qualification or Fellowship of Advance HE.
• Experience with physiology research or professional networks.
• Additional expertise in Sport Nutrition.
