Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex datacenter systems.
• Lead large-scale infrastructure projects and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Act as a subject matter expert in high-priority technical customer service scenarios and incidents.
• Define operational standards, policies, and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the operations team.
• Engage directly with customers on key projects and service delivery improvements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Iceland
• 6+ years of experience with a focus on infrastructure design and management.
• Deep knowledge of datacenter architecture, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery planning.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Higher-level Advanced certification.
• Strong analytical skills and a customer service ethic.

Nice to have

• Exposure to large-scale datacenter environments.
• Hands-on GPU server experience at a tech organization.
