Location: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote). Must be based in the UK (Glasgow, Manchester, London, or Birmingham).

What you will do

• Design scalable and secure solutions across SIEM, SOAR, and XDR platforms aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Translate business and threat requirements into clear security designs and architecture patterns.
• Develop detection logic, use cases, and automation workflows using Python and SQL.
• Build and optimize security content, including rules, analytics, and orchestration playbooks.
• Implement AI techniques such as anomaly detection and LLM-driven support to improve SOC efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to create products that meet market expectations and cost targets.

Requirements

• Security clearance is required for work with Government and Military contracts.
• Experience in a multi-skilled matrix team using Agile methodology.
• Background in an operational function or technical delivery role implementing launched services.
• Understanding of the interactions between people, processes, and systems.

Nice to have

• Experience working in SecDevOps environments.
• Formal qualifications in Cloud or SIEM/SOAR technology.
