Software Engineering Professional (Cybersecurity): Developing and maintaining bespoke, highly complex specialist capabilities for critical national infrastructure with an accent on security and high-quality software delivery. Location: Required to work from office locations (Cheltenham, Ipswich, London, or Manchester). There is no option for home working.

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality, well-tested software solutions aligned with the engineering strategy.
• Take personal responsibility and authority for the delivery of a broad range of complex technical work.
• Collaborate closely with customers to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Influence internal organization and customers at a project level.
• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to continuously improve team knowledge and capability.

Requirements

• Experience in delivering software engineering projects.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, C++, Objective-C, Java, C#, or C.
• Must be able to hold and maintain DV (Developed Vetting) security clearance.
• Must work from specified office locations in the UK; no remote work available.
• Ability to demonstrate autonomy, ownership, and personal responsibility.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript, MEAN stack, Jenkins, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, or AWS.
• Experience working with Agile project methodologies.
