Cost Manager (Data Center)

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 a year

What you will do

• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans using benchmarking data.
• Develop value engineering and life cycle costing options to optimize project efficiency.
• Maintain the project Risk Register and identify cost-related risks.
• Create and manage cost control reports to track financial performance.
• Support pre-contract process meetings and document key client discussions and actions.
• Manage change order logs, invoice logs, and detailed cost reporting; support pricing research for development appraisals and qualification reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Data Analytics, or another cost/construction-focused field.
• Cost Manager: 2+ years of cost management experience.
• Senior Cost Manager: 5+ years of cost management experience.
• Lead Consultant: 7+ years of cost management experience.

Nice to have

• Experience working in hyper-scale data centers.
• Advanced CostX functions for estimates and bills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Thorough knowledge of construction process, management techniques, methods, and materials.
• Organized and detail-oriented approach.
