What you will do

• Lead SEO initiatives by conducting website audits and keyword research to improve search visibility and traffic.
• Create and optimize high-performing website and blog content using SEO, AEO, and AI-driven best practices.
• Coordinate on-page SEO execution, overseeing technical optimizations and quality-checking updates.
• Manage local search performance via Google Business Profile, business listings, and citation optimization.
• Contribute to the AI Visibility strategy by testing emerging search trends and generative search experiences.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience in technical, on-page, local, and content-driven initiatives.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs.
• Strong copywriting skills for creating SEO and AEO-optimized, user-focused content.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude for research, content creation, and workflow efficiency.
• Knowledge of local SEO best practices and Google Business Profile management.
• Location: Must be based in Greenville, South Carolina

Nice to have

• Experience managing website updates in WordPress.
• Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certifications.
• Experience working within a small agency environment supporting multiple clients.
