Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to the Bay Area (San Francisco/Peninsula) or NYC. Hybrid model: Expected ~2 days per week in-office.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable frontend architectures for complex web applications.
• Build and maintain reusable UI components and design-system integrations.
• Partner with product managers and designers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Lead technical design discussions and own architectural decisions.
• Optimize for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across core user flows.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep frontend expertise.
• AI-Native mindset: Daily use of AI coding agents and modern tooling.
• Strong command of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web standards.
• Proven track record in performance optimization and testing strategy.
• Ability to own technical problems from design through production.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in the Bay Area or NYC.

Nice to have

• Experience building and maintaining design systems.
• Proficiency with modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience with cloud-native environments and CI/CD pipelines.
