What you will do

• Produce daily newscasts, specials, and FAST content across broadcast and digital platforms.
• Write news scripts, promos, and headlines while editing video content using non-linear software.
• Assign stories to producers and conceptualize graphics and blocking with anchors and APC operators.
• Execute live shots and manage video livestreams with high accuracy and urgency.
• Contribute to editorial meetings and daily coverage decisions based on station priorities.
• Publish content to the website and social media platforms, including video clips and photos.

Requirements

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a broadcast producer
• At least 1 year of prior news editing experience
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be willing to work on-site in San Diego
• Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, or a related field
