Senior Technical Lead (Power & BatteryLife)

TL;DR

Senior Technical Lead (Power & BatteryLife): Designing, developing, and executing power and performance plans for IPs and SoCs with an accent on power, thermal, and performance/watt optimizations. Focus on driving continuous improvements in architectural configurations, identifying power activity zones, and collaborating across design and manufacturing teams to meet market requirements.

Location: Must be based in Israel (Haifa or Petah-Tikva). This role follows a hybrid work model.

What you will do

• Develop and execute power and performance plans for IP and SoC architectures.
• Identify and maintain power, thermal, and performance/watt characterizations.
• Conduct feature analysis to close gaps between observed behavior and performance targets.
• Develop innovative tools and methodologies for architectural performance analysis.
• Collaborate with design, architecture, binning, and manufacturing teams to meet power consumption goals.
• Provide recommendations for future architectures to advance performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in circuit, logic design, or integration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading power activities on large-scale VLSI projects.
• Strong expertise in power modeling methodologies and low-power optimization.
• Excellent communication skills to interface with diverse cross-functional groups.

Nice to have

• Advanced understanding of power considerations at architectural, block, and circuit levels.
• Understanding of battery life-related scenario behaviors at the system level.
• Programming or software development background, specifically Python.
