TL;DR

Junior Kubernetes Platform Developer (Kubernetes/Golang): Build APIs and custom controllers for existing Kubernetes clusters with an accent on stateful Kubernetes solutions and platform integrations. Focus on testing and automating platform APIs, learning ING Cloud Storage operations, and delivering end-to-end customer journey integrations.

What you will do

• Build new features as APIs and custom Kubernetes controllers for existing clusters.
• Learn and work with ING Cloud Storage (object-based) and its dependencies in the infrastructure ecosystem.
• Develop and refine platform features for current and new platforms using a DevOps product backlog approach.
• Test and automate platform APIs.
• Build integrations across infrastructure systems to support end-to-end customer journeys.
• Document features and processes and present them in Cloud Roadshows.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and system components.
• Experience building APIs and controllers for Kubernetes-based platforms (or strong practical understanding).
• Everything-as-code mindset.
• Ability to learn how cloud platforms work and take responsibility in an end-to-end product mindset.
• Hybrid working is part of the role.

• Knowledge of Golang.
