What you will do
- Develop and maintain Python applications, APIs, and data pipelines under senior guidance.
- Assist in building and configuring Azure cloud services including Functions, Data Factory, and SQL.
- Write and maintain Terraform code for cloud infrastructure provisioning.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerized deployments using Docker.
- Participate in code reviews and resolve software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and QA teams in an agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
- Foundational knowledge of Python programming.
- Understanding of software development principles including version control, testing, and debugging.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Strong communication and methodical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
- Awareness of Infrastructure as Code concepts like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT pipelines.
