Sustainability Specialist

What you will do

• Support the implementation of the sustainability strategy with a focus on ESG data management and climate initiatives.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency of ESG data in alignment with reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collect, validate, and monitor ESG KPIs across departments to track performance against targets.
• Drive Scope 3 greenhouse gas accounting processes, including data collection and emissions calculations.
• Coordinate internal and external ESG audits and support the preparation of sustainability disclosures.
• Act as a business partner to site teams, providing guidance on sustainability performance and regulatory implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability roles within industrial and international business environments.
• Strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., TCFD, GRI, ESRS, GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP, EU Taxonomy).
• Proven experience with Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions methodologies and data collection.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills (C1 level).
• Analytical mindset with strong cross-functional stakeholder communication skills.
