Operations Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, or Uruguay; aligned with US time zone coverage

What you will do

• Translate complex business logic and rule sets into functional data solutions for healthcare network filings.
• Optimize SQL queries and Python scripts to improve data processing performance and reliability.
• Lead small operational and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, data analyst, and business stakeholders to deliver aligned solutions.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and technical issues affecting claims processing.
• Implement temporary fixes, document incidents, and create operational reports that support long-term improvements.

Requirements

• Strong experience with SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with Python scripting and troubleshooting data or operational issues.
• Ability to understand and apply healthcare-related regulations when guidance is provided.
• Attention to detail when working with complex datasets.
• Experience in healthcare or provider network operations.
• Exposure to dbt and Claude.

Nice to have

• Understanding of claims processing workflows.
• Experience optimizing large-scale data queries and scripts.
• Experience working in cross-functional distributed teams.
