TL;DR

App Founder (Product Management): Building and scaling new vertical software applications for construction contractors from zero to $10M+ ARR with an accent on customer discovery, rapid prototyping, and commercial ownership. Focus on identifying high-impact pain points, leveraging AI tools for development, and navigating the full product lifecycle from prototype to market expansion.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York City or San Francisco for a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in office).

Salary: $230,000–$260,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Run deep customer discovery across multiple problem areas to identify compelling app opportunities.
  • Build functional prototypes within 90 days using AI coding tools and no-code platforms.
  • Pitch and demo solutions to real prospects to validate product-market fit.
  • Own the commercial motion, including pricing, packaging, and early sales strategies.
  • Graduate apps through a stage-gated investment framework from discovery to series A.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, founding, or full-stack engineering at a high-growth software company.
  • Proven track record of launching 0→1 products from concept to shipment.
  • Comfortable using AI coding tools to build and ship prototypes independently.
  • Strong customer instincts with the ability to conduct effective discovery interviews.
  • High ownership mindset with a business-oriented approach to product development.
