Salary: €5,994 – €8,563 gross per month

What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend services to power conversational AI features.
• Integrate Large Language Models and AI agents with internal systems using secure APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Develop orchestration logic for AI agents to manage user intent, context, and memory.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and data scientists to translate customer journeys into backend capabilities.
• Ensure system reliability, observability, and compliance in AI-augmented banking environments.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Netherlands
• Senior-level experience in backend software engineering using Python and Java.
• Strong expertise in designing REST APIs and implementing integration patterns.
• Experience with AI-agent architectures, including tool invocation and context management.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and messaging platforms.
• Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance in AI-augmented systems.
