What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of external contract lobbyists, setting performance expectations and reviewing deliverables.
• Tailor corporate policy positions and lobbying strategies into state-specific advocacy messaging.
• Build and maintain credible relationships with state legislators, committee staff, attorneys general, and gaming regulators.
• Coordinate multi-state legislative campaigns and represent the company at hearings, fundraisers, and conferences.
• Monitor and track emerging legislation affecting social gaming, sweepstakes, consumer protection, and advertising.

Requirements

• 7-12+ years of experience in state government, state-level lobbying, legislative affairs, or political campaigns.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven experience managing external vendors or contract lobbyists against defined performance standards.
• Working knowledge of gaming regulation, sweepstakes law, or consumer protection.
• Established political credibility and relationships with key government officials.
• Proficiency with legislative tracking tools.
