What you will do

• Design, develop, and verify high-quality embedded software modules for complex weapon systems.
• Define robust software architectures and requirements, ensuring full traceability across the lifecycle.
• Produce formal technical documentation, including SRS, ICD, SDD, and test specifications.
• Plan and execute comprehensive verification and validation activities, including automated and laboratory testing.
• Manage software configuration and version control using Git or SVN.
• Identify and mitigate software-related safety risks to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development for safety-critical systems.
• Strong programming expertise in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and low-level interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, MIL-STD-1553).
• Proven ability to produce high-quality technical documentation.
• English proficiency is required for international collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense, aerospace, or automotive regulated industries.
• Familiarity with standards such as DO-178B/C, MIL-STD-498, or MIL-STD-882.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and HIL/SIL testing environments.
• Knowledge of requirements management tools (DOORS, JAMA) and static analysis tools (PC-Lint).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
